What you will achieve
Automate safe cleanup with Storage Sense — set rules that match how you actually use the PC.
1) Enable Storage Sense
- Open Settings → System → Storage.
- Turn on Storage Sense and open its options page.
2) Choose automatic cleanup rules
- Set Recycle Bin cleanup period.
- Set Downloads cleanup only if you do not keep installers there.
- Enable cloud content offload for OneDrive if needed.
3) Run now and verify
Use Run Storage Sense now once, then confirm free space increased.
