1) Enable Storage Sense

  1. Open Settings → System → Storage.
  2. Turn on Storage Sense and open its options page.

2) Choose automatic cleanup rules

  • Set Recycle Bin cleanup period.
  • Set Downloads cleanup only if you do not keep installers there.
  • Enable cloud content offload for OneDrive if needed.

3) Run now and verify

Use Run Storage Sense now once, then confirm free space increased.
